I was on sick leave from work due to a heart attack on Jan. 12, 2011. To keep busy I have started "hubbing" here on HubPages. I have written about the things I have been doing while home from work to keep myself from going stir crazy. Things like my day trips to Batsto and buying a fixer-upper camper for 500 bucks.

Update:

As of July 11th, 2011, I recovered enough and have returned to work with no restrictions. The camper is finished and we went on our first family camping trip on August 19th, 20th, and 21st. Everything worked and the trip was a success!!! Can't wait for the next trip.

Update: 2022 begins a new chapter of my life. I am currently a retired, disabled veteran. The goal is to continue writing articles on HubPages with a focus on consumer products and gear reviews. I will continue to include recipes for interesting food ideas but my main focus will be resting, taking care of my health, and testing consumer products in real-world situations to provide honest and personal reviews and opinions.
